Professional Reflection

When a case requires more than just a quick tip

Coaching supervision creates space to view one’s own work from a new perspective. Instead of pondering a difficult case alone, the situation is structured, reflected upon, and examined from various angles together.

In the VISTEMA®-Board In supervision, we work on real-life cases from coaching, consulting, leadership, and team development. You can also bring up planned assignments before you begin implementing them.

The VISTEMA®-Board helps to bring relationships, roles, and dynamics to light. This makes decision points clearer, and allows for a more targeted analysis of possible interventions.

How We Work

From a complex case to the next clear decision

The focus is always on concrete practice. The specific case determines which perspectives are relevant and where a closer look is needed.

01

Submit a case

Describe a specific case or an upcoming assignment, and explain where you're currently stuck.

02

Make the situation clear

Relevant individuals, relationships, interests, and areas of conflict are mapped out collaboratively.

03

Broadening Horizons

The supervisor and the group reflect on patterns, ask questions, and offer new perspectives on the situation.

04

Clarify the next steps

Reflection gives rise to concrete ideas for decisions, interventions, and the next steps.

Who is supervision for?

For people who work professionally with people and organizations

Online coaching supervision is designed for practitioners who want to reflect on specific cases, refine their approach, or prepare more thoroughly for an upcoming assignment.

With their own case

As the person presenting the case

You focus on your specific case. Together, we structure the situation, visualize it, and work through it under supervision.

Without a case of their own

As part of the peer supervision group

Even if you don't have a case of your own, you'll still benefit from the work. You'll observe different approaches, contribute your own perspectives, and gain new ideas for your own practice.

Recognizing Systemic Relationships

As for that VISTEMA®-Board highlights in supervision

In complex coaching and consulting situations, multiple levels often come into play simultaneously. Roles, relationships, expectations, interests, and unspoken tensions influence the situation, but cannot always be immediately distinguished from one another during a conversation.

With the VISTEMA®-Board These connections become visually apparent. This creates a shared image that the supervisor, the person presenting the case, and the group can all look at together.

This creates some distance from one's own case and makes it easier to recognize patterns, test hypotheses, and work through possible interventions in a targeted manner.

Don't just talk about the situation, but work together to bring to light what is at work within it.

01

Relationships and Roles

Who is related to whom, and in what way? What roles and positions shape the situation?

02

Tensions and Interactions

Where do conflicts, expectations, or dynamics arise that have been difficult to pinpoint in the conversation so far?

03

Possible Interventions

What kind of change could bring some movement into the system, and what would it set in motion elsewhere?

04

My own perspective on the case

What assumptions do we bring to the table ourselves, and what alternative perspectives become possible through our shared reflection?
